Most “about us” stats pages round up. This one is a plain count of what’s actually published on AbroadPilot as of September 2026, pulled from the site itself rather than estimated.
What the tools actually run on
The 13 tools aren’t a separate, unverified layer on top of the guides — they draw on the same checked figures. The Visa-Free Checker uses a full 199×199 passport-index dataset compiled January 2025 (an open dataset, not a paid API). The Scholarship Eligibility Checker and Deadlines Calendar both track the same 26-scholarship set, so a change to one updates the other. The Visa Refusal Rates tool uses the European Commission’s own published Schengen consulate data, not a modelled estimate.
Coverage, honestly stated
Visa guides currently cover North America, the UK and all 27+ Schengen-area states, the Middle East, and the highest-traffic destinations across Africa, Asia, South America and Oceania — not literally every country in the world. Where a guide doesn’t exist yet for a specific country, the regional hub page for that continent says so and links to what is available. Scholarship coverage is deliberately narrower than “every scholarship that exists” — each of the 26 tracked awards was individually verified against its own funder’s page rather than pulled from an aggregator list, which is why the number is 26 and not several hundred.
